What is tomography?

Different sensors are responsible for sending the signals and then the tomogram is formed through tomographic reconstruction, which involves the use of certain algorithms to obtain the final image. CT scans are useful for diagnosing, studying and treating cancer, for example. They also allow the study of blood vessels, diagnose an infection or serve as a guide to the surgeon. -Abdomen and pelvis. This usually lasts about half an hour and the patient who is going to do it must have previously had what is called a contrast medium. It is a type of dye, generally administered intravenously or orally, with which it is intended to make a more accurate diagnosis of the result of the examination itself.
