Courageous is an adjective that refers to someone who has courage. An individual with bravery or courage is courageous.

Usually, the idea of brave appears associated with the notion of bravery, courage or daring. Suppose a woman watches a child about to fall off a ledge. Wasting no time, she walks over and takes the little boy in her hands, leading him to safety. It turns out that this woman risked her life to save the child: therefore, she is a brave person, who does not allow herself to be paralyzed by fear. Fire, in this context, is usually brave. Due to their work, they continually face dangerous situations, where they can suffer all kinds of injuries or even die. However, motivated by their vocation, they take risks every day and provide an essential service to the community.
