What is the udder?

The etymology of uberrimo leads to uberrĭmus, a Latin word. The term allows qualifying what stands out for its fertility or abundance.

It can be said that it is a vast and vast tradition. El Ubérrimo, for its part, is the name of the agricultural property of former Colombian President Álvaro Uribe. As explained by the president in a journalistic interview, the farm was named like this more than a century ago, taking the meaning of uberrimo that appears in the Bible, linked to fertile lands. It is estimated that El Ubérrimo has an area of ​​around 1,300 hectares. The farm is located in the department of Córdoba and is usually used by the Uribe family to rest. “On the paths of El Ubérrimo”, in turn, is the title of a non-fiction book by Iván Cepeda and Alirio Uribe. The play revolves around Colombian problems such as land eviction and paramilitarism.
