Coming from the Latin uterus, womb is a term that identifies the part of the body of humans and vertebrate animals that contains the main organs of the digestive and genitourinary systems. It should be noted that the concept is also used to name the set of viscera located in the aforementioned cavity and the external part of the body that corresponds to the abdomen.
For example: “I feel a very strong pain in my stomach, I think I will have to go to the doctor”, “The victim was shot in the stomach and, after five hours of agony, he died in the city hospital”, “ Manuel was lying on the ground after suffering a ball in the belly in the middle of his soccer game. ”
The belly is also associated with the womb. For aesthetic reasons, men and women often want to have a flat or flat stomach, which is achieved when no fat accumulates in the region. A flat stomach is achieved through a balanced diet and physical exercises (such as sit-ups or others). One of the physical activities considered most useful to achieve this is the well-known belly dance. It can be defined as an oriental-type dance, also reminiscent of North African dances, which is fundamentally based on the movement of the hip and the belly itself. It is important to emphasize that it is attached to what Nature is, since it is considered a representation or reflection of the environment. So much so that it is established that the feet act as symbols of the earth while the arms and their respective movements function as a reflection of the birds’ freedom. There are several movements that serve as pillars of this dance and among them is the one known as pendulum, which is defined as a gentle swing of the aforementioned hips. Likewise, we must not forget the twist, which is that movement in which the dancer in question performs a very fast and alternative turn of the same. The step three, the African circle or the Greek step are other of the most basic movements of this type of oriental dance. In the same way, starting from the aforementioned meaning of belly, we must emphasize that this concept is not only used to designate the belly of living beings but also to refer to the most prominent part that has various utensils, as is the case of the vases that are. They are used to store, for example, all kinds of liquids and drinks. The womb is the place in the body where the fetus remains until delivery. By extension, the concept allows naming the mother. In this context, it can be said that the phrase surrogacy refers to the woman who reaches an agreement to become pregnant and give birth to a child that she will give to other people. It is a substitute.
What is known as womb freedom, on the other hand, is an old legal principle implanted in the American countries and on Spanish soil during the 19th century. Thanks to him, the descendants of slaves should have freedom.
