These dishwasher hoses typically have a uni-coupler on one end, which is a component designed to securely connect to a sink faucet. The supply line for these hoses can be connected to a faucet through a uniacoupler, which is how the portable dishwasher receives water. Typically, a unicoupler will also have a vent at the bottom that the drain hose connects to, allowing dirty water from the portable dishwasher to empty directly into the sink.
